About UNI Asia & Pacific
UNI Asia and Pacific is a regional division of UNI Global Union, representing over 20 million workers in more than 150 countries worldwide. Our mission is to champion the rights of workers across a range of industries, including telecommunications, information technology, finance, media, and more. With a focus on advancing fair labor practices, ensuring workplace safety, and promoting social justice, we strive to build sustainable, inclusive economies that work for everyone.
In the Asia and Pacific region, we work closely with national and sectoral trade unions to empower workers, protect their rights, and negotiate for better working conditions. Our priorities include fostering gender equality, promoting sustainable development, and supporting digital transformation initiatives that enhance the lives of workers.
Through capacity-building programs, collective bargaining, and advocacy, UNI Asia and Pacific actively addresses challenges posed by globalization, automation, and technological advancements. We believe in the power of solidarity to create positive change, and we are committed to supporting unions in their efforts to organize, represent, and defend the interests of workers in the region.
